2. Scope

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern all purchases, deliveries, and use of products

manufactured or distributed by JMD Global LLC (“Company”, “we”, “us”, “our”) within the

United States. By purchasing or installing our products, the buyer (“Customer”) agrees to

these Terms.

3. Orders and Acceptance

All orders are subject to acceptance by JMD Global LLC. Quotations, pricing, and delivery

dates are subject to change without notice prior to order confirmation. Confirmed orders

may not be cancelled or modified without written approval.

4. Prices and Payment

Prices are exclusive of taxes, duties, and shipping costs unless otherwise stated. Payment

terms shall be as specified on the invoice. Late payments may incur interest charges of 1.5%

per month or the maximum allowed by law.

5. Delivery and Risk of Loss

Risk of loss or damage passes to the Customer upon shipment. JMD Global LLC is not liable

for delays caused by carriers, force majeure, or other events beyond our control.

6. Limited Warranty

JMD Global LLC provides a 5-year limited warranty for interior birch and flush fire-rated

doors (20, 45, 90 minutes) and similar non-rated doors, covering manufacturing defects

under normal use. The warranty applies only to the original purchaser and is nontransferable. Full warranty details are described in the separate document “Warranty

Obligations of JMD Global LLC,” incorporated herein by reference.

7. Exclusions and Limitations

The warranty does not cover:

- Damage from improper storage, transportation, or installation;

- Environmental exposure (humidity, precipitation, temperature extremes);

- Unauthorized modification or trimming beyond factory limits;

- Misuse or use in non-interior applications (e.g., saunas, exterior doors);

- Normal variations in wood such as expansion or contraction within tolerance.

JMD Global LLC’s liability is limited to repair, replacement, or refund of the defective

product. No consequential or incidental damages are covered.

8. Returns and Claims

All claims must be submitted in writing within 30 days of delivery. Products must be

inspected upon receipt, and visible damages must be noted on the carrier’s receipt.

Unauthorized returns will not be accepted.

9. Installation and Maintenance

Installation must be performed by qualified professionals according to manufacturer’s

instructions. If the door is unfinished, all surfaces and edges must be sealed or painted

immediately after installation to maintain warranty coverage.

10. Force Majeure

The Company shall not be liable for any delay or failure in performance caused by events

beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, acts of war,

supply chain disruptions, or government restrictions.

11. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by and construed under the laws of the State of Florida, without

regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Broward

County, Florida.

12. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found invalid, the remaining provisions shall remain in

full force and effect.

13. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with the warranty document, constitute the entire agreement

between JMD Global LLC and the Customer regarding product sale and use.

WARRANTY OBLIGATIONS OF JMD GLOBAL LLC

Product and Warranty Term:

JMD Global LLC (USA) provides a limited warranty for interior birch and flush fire-rated

doors with fire resistance ratings of 20, 45, or 90 minutes, as well as similar doors without a

fire rating. The warranty period is 5 years from the date of purchase. The warranty covers

manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship of the door slab under normal use. In

the event a defect is discovered within the warranty period, JMD Global LLC will, at its

discretion, repair or replace the defective door slab with a comparable product or refund

the purchase price. This warranty applies only to the original purchaser and is not

transferable.

Scope of Coverage:

This warranty applies only within the United States and covers the door slab manufactured

by JMD Global LLC. The warranty does not cover installation, hardware, or any other

components not manufactured or supplied by the company.

Storage and Transportation:

Doors must be stored flat on a level surface in a dry, well-ventilated area, protected from

direct sunlight, extreme temperatures, and humidity. Damage resulting from improper

storage or transportation (moisture, warping, overheating, mechanical impact, etc.) is not

covered.

Installation:

Doors must be installed by qualified professionals in accordance with manufacturer

instructions. The warranty does not cover defects or damage caused by improper

installation or non-compliance with installation guidelines.

Finishing and Maintenance:

If the door is supplied unfinished, it must be properly sealed (painted or varnished) on all

sides and edges promptly after installation. Failure to timely and completely apply a

protective finish voids the warranty. Proper maintenance during use is required. Damage

caused by insufficient care or lack of maintenance is excluded.

Environmental Conditions:

These doors are for interior use only in climate-controlled environments. Installation or use

in conditions with uncontrolled climate, exposure to precipitation, excessive humidity

(including flooding), absence of air conditioning, extreme temperatures, or sharp

fluctuations voids the warranty. Natural seasonal wood movements such as minor

expansion, contraction, or warp within acceptable tolerances are not considered defects.

Mechanical Damage and Force Majeure:

The warranty does not cover damage caused by misuse, accidents, fire, flood, natural

disasters, or structural changes in the building (e.g., foundation settling or shifting).

Product Modification:

Any modifications to the door slab by unauthorized persons void the warranty. This

includes trimming beyond factory allowances, drilling additional holes, or altering the

structure of fire-rated doors which may affect their fire certification.

Improper Use:

The warranty is void if the product is used for purposes other than its intended interior

application. Using these doors as exterior doors or in high-moisture areas (e.g., saunas) is

not covered.

Limitations of Liability:

JMD Global LLC’s liability is limited to the repair, replacement, or refund of the defective

product. Costs of removal, reinstallation, finishing, or other related expenses are not

covered. JMD Global LLC is not liable for any indirect or consequential damages.

Market Standards:

The 5-year limited warranty aligns with common U.S. market practices for interior doors

and exceeds typical coverage for fire-rated doors offered by many competitors
